I first began to conceptualize the doctrine of Jadeism (pronounced Jah DAY ism) in 1990.  It is, in fact, a hybrid variation of Deism: belief in the inborn apprehension of religious knowledge acquired by use of reason. The belief in God on the evidence of reason, with the rejection of supernatural revelation and intervention.

JAH is used by me as the contraction of JEHOVAH, the God of the Old Testament and the Jewish and Christian Faith. Jah-DEISM reconciles Deism's transcendental concept of God with the Orthodox Christian view of immanence.
In Jadeism the immanent aspect of deity [i.e., "the image of God" (Ge 1:26-27)] is inherent in human nature and manifested by our inborn ability to deduce the existence of God and our relation to It. (I say 'It' because I do not wish to ascribe to deity a particular gender)! My belief in this inborn ability is predicated upon the Gospel of John. "In the beginning was The Word...and The Word was god." (Jo 1:1).  "In Him was life, and the life was the light of men." (Jo 1:4).
As a Jadeist, I understand word to be an English transliteration of the Greek logos, the etymology of which is as follow: a word, speech, discourse, proportion, ratio ... n. der. of legein to choose, gather, speak.
And reason thus: ME resoun, reisun (n.) < OF reisun, reson < L. rationem, acc. of RATIO reckoning, reason!
In conclusion, The Word, i.e, LOGOS, may also be interpreted as reason, our natural ability to think! Thus, as a Jadeist, [supernatural] revelation is deemed possible through creative and inspirational thought.   "I AM THAT I AM" (Ex 3:14). Why not, then, "COGITO, ERGO SUM" ( I THINK THEREFORE I AM)!?  So that Jah is a transcendental force manifested in the universal laws of nature, and an immanent force when these laws are comprehended and applied to daily life in creative, constructive, and inspirational ways.
